Atlantic tool die layoff

Indeed Featured review The most useful review selected by Indeed. When working for there, forget a balance between work and family. High demands and highly stressful. The hard you work, the more you are given, with no time or benefits. You can see others get rewarded for doing nothing. Raises are never given to the people that deserve it, there always is something meaningless that prevents it.

Management needs serious help in personality courses, they never seem to care for the people that are working. Promises in better training or help fall on death ears, just demand more of the time. In you are not in the the "in crowd" you feel alienated from the rest of the company. There are those select few that are great to work with.

The plant manager won't smile, wave, nod, or even make eye contact with you unless you are management.

There are temps who have been working there for 7 or 8 months, they don't hire you in because they don't want to pay benefits and vacation.

I have learned a lot of skills since I was hired ten years ago. I feel that I have gone as far as I can in this company. My heart is very heavy in helping the youth, and make a positive difference in their life. This is a very diverse atmosphere, and most of the coworkers are easy to get along with. The most enjoyable part was working with people, and helping them when they need the help. The hardest part is dealing with the political side, because they force their views upon you.

Learned more about the automotive industry and spot welding.

Management is very decisive in my opinion. My co-workers are very helpful and trustworthy. Hardest part is keep machines from going down. I enjoy making the day to day operations flow continuous. Yes There are 1 helpful reviews 1 No There are 2 unhelpful reviews 2. Drives you and helps you be a better worker. I enjoyed the opportunities for growth at ATD. It was a clean and friendly place to work. Everybody knew their jobs and did them well, and learning new jobs was quick and easy.

Clocked in went to your work area start your machines up run a part in go straight to gauge it. I learned to run to machines at once in to identify when the machine wasn't running its best.

My co-workers were awesome always willing to help. The hardest part was when you had a lot of down time and couldn't produce your number. The best part would have to be being recognized for doing a good job. Pros You could get as much overtime as you could work. Cons Unorganized. A typical day at work is quiet and laid back. There are different things you can learn each day you are there. The co-workers are nice and friendly and they stay to themselves and work. I can't say there is anything hard about.

I really enjoy my job and the atmosphere there is nice.
